Clay llama Social

We know that with a good team, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. To this end, chapter-wide social activities are a critical part of our operations. In March, we hosted a llama-making social to help de-stress and meet new team members. Each participant used air-dry clay to design and shape a miniature llama figurine. Llamas are common throughout Peru, so this project was a great way to socialize with a theme that is both creative and tied to our mission. We plan to decorate the llamas with colorful paints at a later date, and eventually use them as decorations to draw attention to our tabling and outreach efforts. Hopefully they are as eye-catching as they are adorable.
